Ms. Jeanette M. Joyce worked at AT&T for 32 years where she was a Facilities Engineer before retiring from there in December, 2002. She then went to work for the State of Illinois. Her career there spanned the Departments of Transportation, Corrections and Commerce and Economic Opportunity and held two positions with the Illinois State Police.

Ms. Joyce wrote policy for the Department of Corrections and created an Instruction Manual for the operations of Payroll and Timekeeping for the Public Safety and Shared Services division of the department.

Retired since 2015, she devotes her time to her husband, Jim, and their 105-pound Golden Retriever, Riley.

She is the mother of three sons, grandmother to five and has two great grandsons.
